RouteCleanly ("we," "our," or "the platform") is a business management SaaS built for professional cleaning companies in the United States. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when cleaning companies and their clients interact with our platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Account information — name, email address, and password when a cleaning company creates an account.
- Client data — names, phone numbers, email addresses, and service addresses that cleaning companies enter for their own clients.
- Billing and job records — invoices, receipts, and scheduling data created by cleaning companies on the platform.
- Usage data — standard web logs such as IP addresses and browser information used for security and performance.
3. SMS Messaging and Consent
RouteCleanly enables cleaning companies to send transactional SMS messages to their clients, including invoice notifications and payment receipt confirmations.
How consent is obtained
Clients provide their phone number directly to the cleaning company when booking a service or creating a client profile. By providing their phone number, clients consent to receive transactional SMS messages from their cleaning company through the RouteCleanly platform. These messages are limited to billing communications such as new invoice notifications and payment receipts.
Message types
- Invoice notifications — informing the client that a new invoice is ready.
- Receipt confirmations — confirming that a payment has been received.
- Service announcements — occasional updates about schedule changes or promotions sent by the cleaning company to their active client list.
Opt-out
Clients may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS messages. After opting out, no further messages will be sent to that number. Reply HELP for assistance.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies depending on the activity of your cleaning company account. Message and data rates may apply. RouteCleanly does not charge separately for SMS delivery.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the RouteCleanly platform.
- To send transactional SMS and email communications on behalf of cleaning companies.
- To generate invoices, receipts, and financial reports.
- To improve platform performance and fix issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use client phone numbers or email addresses for marketing purposes unrelated to the services the cleaning company provides.
5. Data Security
All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security enforced at the database level. Each cleaning company's data is fully isolated and inaccessible to other companies on the platform. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
6. Data Retention
Cleaning companies may delete their accounts and associated data at any time. Client records, invoices, and receipts are retained for as long as the cleaning company account is active. Upon account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Third-Party Services
RouteCleanly uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Twilio — SMS delivery.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
Each provider has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. Phone numbers and email addresses are transmitted to these providers solely for the purpose of message delivery.
